Powerhouse Lounge has been created as a high quality lounge, bar and meeting venue at Vicarage Lane, East Ham designed for two purposes:
- for use as a daycentre by our charity, Transformation Powerhouse, for its work with adult survivors of child sex abuse
- for evening events with quality live Christian music to minister, raise awareness, and to raise funds to support our charity.
Transformation Powerhouse was set up by Mark and Gee Patchett and registered as both a charity and social enterprise in April 2002 with the aim of being a leading community facility that will demonstrate the power and love of God in action. Our desire is to empower women and teenage girls who are broken through child sexual abuse to see and reach their full potential.
Powerhouse Lounge was opened in September 2012 as part of the phase one works for the development of a combined residential and daycentre facility. This very high quality venue equipped with seating for 100 people, bar, projection equipment, sound system, microphone cables, mixing desk and wood burning stoves, is designed to provide a relaxing environment for a wide range of formal and informal events.
To attend any of the events advertised, please use the booking form at the bottom of that event’s page or phone 020 8552 9333. We are sorry, but you may not be allowed entry if you have not pre-booked. If you are booking within 24 hours of the event taking place, please phone to check on availability and to ensure that we receive and log your booking.
We also occasionally hire out the facility for groups sympathetic to our aims and purpose. We can accommodate up to 120 people and it can be used for a variety of daytime events, from business presentations or photographic shoots to special meals.
